Welcome to the 2011 Raft Race

All proceeds benefit the Bridgewater Fast Squad.

Saturday, May 7th at 12 noon! Starting in Bridgewater, Vermont at the residence of Rob and Marianna Capossela, just west of the Long Trail Brewery.

$5 entry fee per participant. FREE to watch!

The Basic Rules

Homemade vessels, homemade oars- Come to win or come to float! The fun is in the challenge!

1. All rafts must be homemade.
2. No commercially manufactured hulls.
3. All rafts must be self-propelled or any combination thereof.
4. All rafts are required to start the race at 12 noon to be eligible.
5. Each individual enters at his or her own risk.
6. Anyone with health problems should not participate.
7. Minors must have Parent/Guardian consent and signature on waiver form before entering.
8. Life Jackets and helmets are recommended.
9. Please, no alcoholic beverages.
10. The Raft Race Staff reserves the right to deny any individual(s) participation in the race, for any reason.
